A double workshop at Congl Meinciau! We enjoyed delving into the waste hierarchy at this workshop with prompts from the group asking why recycling was so low down. This prompted discussion about the energy and time required into making and recycling products highlighting that the best option is to reduce what we need in the first place to save energy and materials in the first place before next re-using what products already exist before spending more time and energy to recycle them into something new at the end of their life.

The group particularly enjoyed using our Near Infra-Red scanner in conjuction with our Resin ID game to identify different types of plastics.
