For now, recycle according to local council rules (lids stay on bottles, mushroom and sweet tubs can be recycled, DVD cases can be recycled as hard plastic at the tip)

Individuals and organisations across Lancaster, Morecambe (and even further afield!) have joined together to collect plastic bottle tops.
The plastic we accept is generally ‘low value’ in our council recycling system, and we’re trying to give it more value as beautiful new objects and a longer life. We are collecting ANY plastic bottle tops, regardless of container type.
We have paused collecting plastic for the time being because we need to process the plastic we’ve already amassed.
